Monster high cupcake fun..

I have Chloe's 8th Birthday party to share with you today. This is the second birthday cake and party I have done for the family. The first was a Tiffany Box cake and a Cupcake decorating party for Chloe's sister when she was 8. The held the party in their backyard at home.

This time family decided to host the party at their restaurant in Richmond. It was a great venue, with plenty of room. It is always nice to be able to get all the way around the table to help people when they need it.

Chloe choose a Monster High theme for the party. The guests were all around between 6 and 10 years old, so I need to come up with some simple ideas for the girls to make. We settled on four cupcakes.
A skull with a purple background.
A pink and black cupcake with stripes and a sparkly heart.
A black cupcake with a  scary mouth.
And for the final cupcake with used blue icing with black dots and a star with their initial on it.

The party was held in the morning so the girls could enjoy lunch at the restaurant after. They were all very enthusiastic and did a fantastic job decorating each of their cupcakes. You can see their results below.

I also made the birthday cake for the party. A Monster High
skull with a pink bow. The cake was vanilla, with vanilla buttercream.

Happy 8th Birthday Chloe!
