Kirsten and Sean's Wedding Cake

Today is the big day
Kirsten and Sean are getting married !

The cake features wired roses and ribbon from the wedding invitations. The sides of the cake are finished off with a pretty stencilled flower design.

Kirsten and Sean plan to keep the top tier of their wedding cake for
their first anniversary. The middle tier is fruit cake and bottom tier is mud cake. Both these cakes will be served at the wedding as part of a dessert buffet.

This morning I took a lovely drive through the hills with my Mum to deliver the Wedding cake to Nathania Springs.  This is a lovely venue in the mountains near Monbulk.

After delivering the cake, Mum and I had a lovely time exploring some of the beautiful gardens in the Dandenong Ranges. Autumn is such a lovely time of the year to visit with all the leaves changing.

We went for a wonder around  the Pirianda Gardens. Followed by a lovely walk at the larger National Rhododendron Gardens. We were the only people  there as it was drizzling, but it wasn't cold at all.

Spotted these amazing  red and white toadstools. They would have to be the largest ones I have ever seen. About the side of a bread and butter plate.

We came across two lyrebirds and a wallaby as well. The lake was also spectacular. Here are a couple of photos.
