Visited Ikea recently and picked up one of these cool flower ice cube trays. Instantly thought, wonder if I can use that for something?  So I took it home and tried it out and this is the result. Wanted to make something different this year for the children's class parties. I was thinking of chocolate balls, you know the ones you roll in coconut, but I wanted to find a way to make them into shapes. Happily the idea worked. For this simple cookie, all you need is a pair of scissors to shape your fondant tree. Each branch is a snip. Attach your tree to the sugar cookie using a little icing. Dominic started Scouts this year, he is a Joey Scout.   The other day their group had their Christmas break up and Dominic wanted to give each of his friends a little gift. This weekend in Melbourne we celebrate the Queens Birthday. Although a cake would be fitting to celebrate the occasion, I have a Crown made out of icing instead. I had a lot of fun making these cut fondant cupcake toppers last week. The cupcake toppers were made for Wilson, who just celebrated his First Birthday. I had a request for a bit of help getting cakes out of cake tins. Most of the time I used standard 3 inch tins in either round or square.
